Comix Zone combined the 2 things I love most video games and comic books. It had the feel of a comic book yet you had control of the main character, Sketch Turner as he traversed through the different frames. Each frame had a new challenge and/or bad guy to pummel. I really liked the sweet power ups in the game like TNT (who doesn't like TNT) and the helpful Road Kill Rat. Sketch could even rip off paper from the background to make paper airplanes that can damage enemies. Games like this were exciting and memorable, they don't make them quite like this anymore.
This is a handmade toy in quality packaging. Many hours were spent on this piece to produce the final result you see here. Careful attention to details are apparent in this truly a unique piece of collectable memorabilia. The card back is printed on high quality card stock as good if not better than what you will find with any factory produced toy. This piece will enhance any toy collection and sure to be a huge head turner. Makes the perfect gift for the toy connoisseur in your life.
Note: Rather than an actual toy this is more of an art piece and therefore is not intended to be opened or played with, just for display. But if you purchase it you can do what you want with it, its yours after all, I’m just sayin…

Q: Why did you destroy all of these perfectly working video games, are you some kind of crazy person?
A: I only use non working video game parts in my creations. If I get a hold of something that works or if I can fix it easily then I will not make art out of it. The crazy part is debatable.
Q: What types of gaming systems/controllers do you use?
A: Nintendo NES, Super Nintendo, N64, Nintendo GameCube, Nintendo Wii and Wii U, Playstation 1, PS2, PS3, PS4, Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Atari 2600, Sega Genesis, Sega Dreamcast and others. Let me know if you want me to use a system or controllers not mentioned here, I can most likely find it.
Q: Where do you get all of the video games?
A: Rummage sales, auctions, and video game stores who want to get rid of their broken stuff.
Q: Do you ship outside of the US?
A: Yes! Just place your order in the cart and select your location at checkout. Shipping charges will be calculated based on your location and size of the item. Be aware some countries charge import fees upon arrival of the order into the country. 1Up Forge is not responsible for import taxes.
