The myth, the man, the legend takes shape with this Nintendo NES controller poster print. It features an image of a real Nintendo NES controller and cord. The cord has been shaped, twisted, and turned to create the shape of the hero of Hyrule, Link which is a harder task than it may seem (hours of precise shaping and wiring by hand) but the result is simply stunning. Its the perfect accent for any room, it really makes a statement. The background has been painted giving this piece a whole other dimension of color and flair. Link looks ready to pop right off the page!!
Q: Why did you destroy all of these perfectly working video games, are you some kind of crazy person?
A: I only use non working video game parts in my creations. If I get a hold of something that works or if I can fix it easily then I will not make art out of it. The crazy part is debatable.
Q: What types of gaming systems/controllers do you use?
A: Nintendo NES, Super Nintendo, N64, Nintendo GameCube, Nintendo Wii and Wii U, Playstation 1, PS2, PS3, PS4, Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Atari 2600, Sega Genesis, Sega Dreamcast and others. Let me know if you want me to use a system or controllers not mentioned here, I can most likely find it.
Q: Where do you get all of the video games?
A: Rummage sales, auctions, and video game stores who want to get rid of their broken stuff.
Q: Do you ship outside of the US?
A: Yes! Just place your order in the cart and select your location at checkout. Shipping charges will be calculated based on your location and size of the item. Be aware some countries charge import fees upon arrival of the order into the country. 1Up Forge is not responsible for import taxes.
