Nintendo ROB the Robot Table Lamp
Your gaming buddy is back! This is the authentic original Nintendo NES R.O.B. (Robotic Operating Buddy) converted into the ultimate gaming lamp. ROB was indeed one of the most interactive, sophisticated, and most amazing gaming accessories Nintendo ever invented. This little guy would not only play with you on certain NES games he could rotate, grab objects, spin spinners, and move his arms up and down. Who needs human friends anyway!
While creating this lamp I was very careful to preserve all of ROB's awesome motions and charm. Although he is no longer operational with your help he is still able to to rotate 180 degrees, open and close his arms, raise his arms/shoulders up and down, and raise/lower his head slightly to look up or down. He can even hold small objects (it helps if the object has a lip or a lid like the pen cap shown in the picture).
It looks great on or off in any room!
- The lamp is approx 19" tall including the lampshade
- The lamp shade is included and can easily be removed

Q: Why did you destroy all of these perfectly working video games, are you some kind of crazy person?
A: I only use non working video game parts in my creations. If I get a hold of something that works or if I can fix it easily then I will not make art out of it. The crazy part is debatable.
Q: What types of gaming systems/controllers do you use?
A: Nintendo NES, Super Nintendo, N64, Nintendo GameCube, Nintendo Wii and Wii U, Playstation 1, PS2, PS3, PS4, Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Atari 2600, Sega Genesis, Sega Dreamcast and others. Let me know if you want me to use a system or controllers not mentioned here, I can most likely find it.
Q: Where do you get all of the video games?
A: Rummage sales, auctions, and video game stores who want to get rid of their broken stuff.
Q: Do you ship outside of the US?
A: Yes! Just place your order in the cart and select your location at checkout. Shipping charges will be calculated based on your location and size of the item. Be aware some countries charge import fees upon arrival of the order into the country. 1Up Forge is not responsible for import taxes.
Q: Do you do custom orders?
A: If you have an idea for a build just message me on the contact page. We will discuss your idea and your budget.
